"Looking Around with a Hay Farmer"

The person being interviewd is W. Leondas Cockrell. He is a farm owner. He is a male, and he might be around 40 years old. This interview took place in Livingstone, Alabama. The date of this interview is September 14, 1938. And the interviewer is Luther Clark. When being interviewd, Cockrell talks about how life was complicated at that time, how the crops would never grow in great quantity. He also talks about people who are in debt, including him. Tnere were quite a few people with nice houses around where he lived, but many were in great debt and soon they would have to give up their houses. I think this interview is just like any other I read when doing this project, they all sort of talk about the bad things that happened during the Great Depression.

"Terrapin Dogs"

The person being interviewd is Lawrence F. Evans. He is a dog trainer, a male, and must be in his thirties. This interview took place in Fairhope, Alabama, in January fourth, 1939. And the interviewee is S.J. This interview talks about a funny and very interesting story that happened to Evans when he was training a dog. He was training it to catch rattlesnakes, and the dog was pretty good at it. But one thing that he saw and got pretty amazed by, was that these collie dogs could hold terrapins under their paws until their masters come to scoop it up and dump it into a sack for research, and selling. This interview talks about what terrapins are and what they do, it even said that people eat them and they actually get sold a lot. My impression of this interview is good, I thought this was a pretty interesting story and it wasn't as boring as the other ones, which just talked about the issues people had during the Great Depression.
